Success Stories about cats that got help from CatAid and how our research makes a difference!
Pelle, 32
"The year 2008 my cat, Chichu was diagnosed with eye cancer. I was so shocked that I could barely talk. A couple days later I went on to the internet to look for a cat cancer research charity and I found CatAid. I asked them to help me pay for the medicines and now they are also the main researchers in eye cancer for cats! Today my cat doesn't have cancer anymore, all thanks to CatAid! |

"My nine year old cat, Sarabi, was diagnosed with throat cancer 5 years ago. The reason why she is still alive today is thanks to CatAid! CatAid helped me with affording the medicines and now my cat's throat cancer is being researched on! The doctors say that the cancer is still going to lower the live expectancy of my cat but nothing to how much it could have been without CatAid!

A Word from the Founder
"When I was 10 my cat was diagnosed with cancer. It was one of the saddest moments in my childhood. School felt dull when you knew that your pets hours were coming to an end. It was the terrible truth. One day our cat seemed sick at home, he didn't eat, barely drank and wasn't nearly as active as he usually was. That day we took him to the doctors. The doctors said that our cat had fever but they suspected it to be coming from the cancer tumor. That was it. They put the cat down because of the cancer tumor. Ever since I have felt guilty for not being able to have helped him in any way, so I decided to make CatAid. I wanted to help cats and humans get through the struggles of cancer in cats and by doing that I made CatAid. To this day we have helped thousands of cats in Scandinavia get through cancer and we are planning to expand to the UK. Our dream is to demolish cancer in cats!"
